DESCRIPTION:Dentists\, oral and dental hygiene equipment flocked to Istanbul İDEX\, the only fair in Turkey. \n“IDEX Istanbul Oral-Dental Health Equipment and Equipment Fair”\, the 3rd biggest fair in the world\, was completed in CNR EXPO Yesilkoy. The fair was visited by 12\,500 industry professionals\, mostly dentists\, both domestic and foreign. \nThe rapidly growing oral and dental health industry is the only fair in Turkey. IDEX Istanbul Oral-Dental Health Equipment and Equipment Fair ‘was held between 14-17 April 2016 at CNR EXPO Yeşilköy. CNR Ekspo Fuarcılık\, Dental Materials Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association\, which exhibits the latest technologies in fields such as pediatric dentist’s chair\, smile design device\, dog fish toothpaste\, non-alcohol disinfection products\, dental decay products\, tooth lasers\, 3D microscopes\, implant systems (DİŞSİAD) was organized in a business alliance. \nBusiness volume exceeding 50 million dollars\nFuarda met with breakthrough products in the sector exhibited in IDEX Istanbul\, a total of 12\,505 sector professionals\, 731 of whom were foreign\, mostly dentists. IDEX Istanbul\, Europe\, USA\, Middle East and Far East countries\, approximately 100 of them are foreigners\, with a total participation of 400 companies\, 15 thousand square meters were organized in the field. It is estimated that a trade volume exceeding 50 million dollars has been created in the sector. \nFor the first time in the fair\, ‘IDEX Istanbul Dental Tribune International Turkey Symposium’ was held. In the symposium\, “Cadaveric Applied” workshop was organized for the first time in Turkey by world famous names of dentistry. Within the scope of the symposium\, dentists showed great interest especially in the workshop held on the cadaver brought under protection under special conditions. \nWith support from the entire industry\, IDEX will now be organized every year! Target is $ 70 million!\nIDEX Istanbul\, which has gained momentum in five years\, including 2016\, will be organized every year starting from 2017 in order to further increase the contribution of the oral and dental health sector\, which is catching on the economic field. With this decision expected to make a significant contribution to the development of the industry\, it is planned that the business volume created in the fair will be at the level of 70 million dollars in 2017.

DESCRIPTION:Numerous business opportunities in Chinese dental market \nAmong the 1.4 billion people in China\, there are 110\,000 dentists and 110\,000 dental lab technicians. The ratio of dentists to total population now is 1: 12727. It was 1:100\,000 in 1985\, 1:50\,000-60\,000 in 1995\, 1:25\,000 in 2005 and up to now\, 1:13\,000 in 2010. \nThus it can be seen that the dentists have increased rapidly and the stomatology dentistry is developing fast with the booming of Chinese economy. But compared with those developed countries and regions like Europe\, America and Japan\, whose ratio of that is 1: 1000-2000\, there is still a big gap. \nOur country aims to reach the goal that every 4000-5000 persons share a dentist on average in 2030. That means in order to meet the needs of the Chinese people for dental disease treatment\, oral health care and tooth esthetic\, the number of stomatological hospitals and clinics in China will expand 5 times within the future 10-20 year. \nWith the development of Chinese stomatology dentistry and improvement of people’s living standards and consumption abilities\, people’s expectation on medical techniques and services is getting higher and higher. As a result\, the demand for high-class and good quality dental equipments and materials is increasing than ever. The survey on national dental diseases shows that over 97% Chinese people suffer from dental diseases and about 50% of the adult suffers from periodontal diseases and the incidence rate of decayed teeth is 37%.That means each person has 2.47 decayed teeth on average. In terms of the 1.4 billion population\, there are about 500 million decayed tooth patients in the whole country with total number of over 1 billion decayed teeth. Therefore\, Chinese dental market has numerous business opportunities.
