This year’s SAGES Meeting will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center from March 22-25, 2017 in Houston, Texas. The meeting is designed to encourage communication and collaboration and to make room for the voices of SAGES members and meeting attendees at large.The most popular topics that will be highlighted at the meeting are foregut, colorectal, hernia, bariatric, minimally invasive liver and pancreas surgery as well as flexible endoscopy. Highlights include Postgraduate (PG) courses, including: How to write and get your Scientific Manuscript Published, Robotic Hernia Surgery, Minimally Invasive Liver Surgery, a FUSE course, and SMART Beyond Colorectal with a SMART workshop designed for the entire surgical team. The hands-on courses include Endolumenal Bariatrics, Robotic Hernia Surgery, and the innovative ADOPT Colon course. Back this year is the SAGES Masters Series, in-depth presentations offered by master surgeons, detailing techniques that will help surgeons take their practice to the next level.
